			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Converting CMYK colour to Pantone in Adobe Illustrator CS3. <span id="more-44"></span>There is  a new feature of Adobe Illustrator CS3 called <strong>Live Colour</strong> which make whole process incredibly easy, simple, accurate and time saving.</p>
<p>1) Select colour objects and open Live Colour from menu Edit &gt; Edit Colors &gt; Recolor Artwork or just simply click on icon Recolour Artwork in Control Panel.</p>

<p>This button is available when the selected artwork contains two or more colors.</p>
<p>2) On of the top of dialog is you can see active colours from selected artwork. Limit the colour group to <strong>specific swatch library</strong>. I chose Pantone Solid Coated.</p>

<p>3) Create a new colour group to add to your Swatch palette.</p>

I didn&#8217;t have a chance to explore this in CS3, but I am pretty sure it is quite easy now to convert CMYK to PMS in Live Colour.</p>
